The New York Times: “Bolstering a Vulnerable Russian Neighbor”

The editorial board of well-known American newspaper, The New York Times, published a thought-provoking article highlighting Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and US support.

The article, published yesterday on The New York Times website, emphasized US Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel’s recent visit to Georgia "struck the right, encouraging tone”.

Because Georgia is such a committed and dependable partner of the United States … we want to and will continue to help Georgia fulfill its Euro-Atlantic aspirations, including membership in NATO.
