BBC: “Guide to the EU deals with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine”

Three post-Soviet countries Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine signed watershed agreements with the European Union (EU) on June 27.

In an article published on the BBC website, journalist Laurence Peter highlighted the benefits these countries will see by signing the Association Agreement.

The pro-Western Government in Tbilisi sees its Association Agreement with the EU as a way to stimulate the country's struggling economy. Nearly a third of Georgia's total trade is with the EU.
