Sakdrisi Gold Mine in southern Georgia is one of the oldest gold mines in the world and dates back almost 5,000 years.
Big discussion surrounds the mine’s archaeological status and whether large sources of gold mined from Sakdrisi Gold Mine could be used for commercial purposes.
