The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia on Wednesday said it had exceeded its approved budget by 125.9 percent, spending ₾114 million (42.23mln) over the proscribed financial plan for the first three months of 2024.
Cash flow of the state budget amounted to ₾554.9 million ($205.54mln), ₾114 million ($42.23mln) over the plan, the body said.
The Ministry added it had spent ₾76.1 million ($28.19mln) more on infrastructure projects this year than in the same period of 2023, in figures it called the “highest three-month performance rate” in its history.
The budget of the Ministry this year is set at ₾3.4 billion ($1,259,674,031).
