Reforms implemented by the Georgian Prosecutor General’s Office in domestic juvenile justice were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between Irakli Shotadze, the Prosecutor General of Georgia, and Jasper Moller, the newly appointed Representative of the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund in Georgia.

The Office said the parties also discussed results achieved by domestic authorities through their cooperation with the UNICEF, as well as “existing challenges”.

The officials agreed to deepen the cooperation “in different directions”, the body also noted.

Natia Merebashvili, the Deputy Prosecutor General of Georgia, was also present at the meeting hosted at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
