Georgian weightlifter Mariam Murghvliani on Wednesday claimed three gold medals at the European Junior and Under-23 Weightlifting Championships in Bucharest, Romania.
In the 87 kg weight category of the tournament, Murghvliani earned a gold by lifting 95, 100 and 102 kilograms in snatch.
She also lifted 118, 123 and 127 kg in clean and jerk to take the second gold, while her combined total of 229 kg earned her another top result in the competition scheduled to end today.
