Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Tuesday celebrated the Prosecutor General’s Office as a “cornerstone” of democracy for the country in comments on the annual professional day for employees of the body.
The Government head described the Office as “independent, highly professional and effective” and a “guarantor of safety for every citizen” in his message.
He also said he was “proud” to see the body form into a “modern, accountable, state institution of European standards”.
“I want to express my gratitude for the great work you are doing to ensure the stability of the country and the rule of law, and I wish you continued success”, the PM told professionals of the institution.
