Extending the message to prosecutors, investigators and other employees of the Office, Garibashvili highlighted its role in “building a constitutional and democratic state grounded in the rule of law.”
Today, after a long period of transformations throughout the period of independence [of Georgia], as a result of the reforms implemented by [the Georgian Government], the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office has emerged as an effective, independent and transparent system, a pillar supporting the country’s stability and security, and a stronghold of law and order,” Garibashvili said.
Garibashvili also thanked the employees of the state body for their contribution to the country’s “progress” in his message.
