Tbilisi’s Rike-Narikala cableway to close temporarily due to technical works

The cable car connecting Rike Park to the fortress of Narikala in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi will close temporarily due to technical works, the Tbilisi City Hall announced on Sunday.
From Monday the cableway will not be able to serve passengers, as the works, required by the regulations, are planned to be carried out.
The City Hall apologised to the public for the “inconvenience” caused.
The cable car connecting Tbilisi’s Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue to the hilltop Turtle Lake recreational space will be closed for three days for maintenance, Tbilisi Transport Company announced on Wednesday.
Tbilisi Transport Company has announced that the Rike-Narikala cableway will stop for maintenance work from November 10 to November 27.
