The cable car connecting Tbilisi’s Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue to the hilltop Turtle Lake recreational space will be closed for three days for maintenance, Tbilisi Transport Company announced on Wednesday.
The work is set to run between Wednesday and Friday, the company noted.
Built in 1965, the cable car system was suspended in 2009 and reopened in 2016 in its original form after renovation.
Tbilisi Transport Company has announced that the Rike-Narikala cableway will stop for maintenance work from November 10 to November 27.
