Tbilisi City Court sentenced a former employee of Gldani No.8 prison, identified only as G.A., to three years and nine months in prison for inhumane treatment of prisoners in 2010-2012.
G.A. verbally and physically abused prisoners under his supervision to force their compliance.
Prisoners were illegally restricted from walking, sleeping and rest. They did not have access to medical services.
