Georgian judokas claimed two gold and one bronze medals on Saturday at the European Judo Championships Sarajevo 2022 hosted in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nika Kharazishvili and Ilia Sulamanidze became champions of Europe in the 90 kg and 100 kg categories of the competition, with Kharazishvili defeating his Ukrainian rival Marat Kryzhanskyi with ippon and Sulamanidze claimed his win against Hungarian Zsombor Veg.
Georgian team member Saba Inaneishvili in the +100 kg category won a bronze medal, defeating German Jonas Schreiber. The national team took second place among the teams in the competition.
