Georgian police officers have arrested an individual for threats made to a minor in capital Tbilisi on Wednesday, the interior ministry announced on Thursday.
The state body said the investigation into the case had established the alleged offender had knocked on the door of a residential flat in the city and asked for help.
After being refused by a minor who was in the flat at the time, the individual - on probation for a previous conviction - made threats and several attempts to force the minor to open the door.
The ministry added the offender only left the scene after the victim had threatened to call the police.
The crime is punishable up to three years in prison.
