Georgian judokas have triumphed at the Krakow World Championships Veterans 2022, with the athletes of the national team claiming two gold, two silver and one bronze medals at a competition hosted by Poland’s capital city of Krakow between Thursday and Sunday.
Georgian Olympic athlete Alexander Davitashvili defeated Slovakian Rastislav Cicmanec, claimed the gold medal and became the world champion for the sixth time, while Gigla Alibegashvili won the champion title for the second time, defeating German Kai Kollmorgen.
Zurab Doganadze and Gocha Beradze claimed the silver medals, and Shalva Bekauri won the bronze.
