The rugby team of the Georgian Defence Forces will take part in the Rugby World Military Sevens Championship in France, the press office of the Georgian Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.
The 12-member squad of the Defence Forces is composed of military personnel selected from different units. Before departing for France, the team trained at the Avchala Rugby Stadium in Tbilisi, the Ministry said.

The World Military Sevens Championship will run between Friday and Sunday in Agen, a city in the south-west of France.
The Georgian squad will feature in the competition along with France, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Uzbekistan, Spain and Cameroon.
