Police have arrested 12 individuals, including 10 drug dealers, in the Ponichala and other districts of Tbilisi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that one of the 10 drug dealers is a citizen of Azerbaijan.
Police discovered that the suspects were selling drugs on a regular basis.
Police officers carried out several controlled purchases of heroin, buprenorphine and alpha -PVP and recorded the process.
During the raid on the drug dealers, police seized 129 pills containing MDMA and 19 grams of cocaine.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
