Khatuna Razmadze, a teacher from St. George’s International School, has won the National Teacher Award of Georgia.

Razmadze, a teacher of mathematics was named among five best Georgian teachers and has been awarded 10,000 GEL.

The Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli has handed the award to Khatuna Razmadze and congratulated the teachers on the World Teacher’s Day.

Being a teacher is a great honour. Georgian teachers prove by their work that they are heroes . I want  to bow before each of them… Today we [the Ministry of Education] have only one winner, but I strongly believe that those who serve the education of the young generation with such dedication are already winners”, said Chkhenkeli.
