One Georgian citizen dies of coronavirus in US

A 64-year-old Georgian man with underlying chronic disease has died in the United States from coronavirus infection, the deputy head of the National Disease Control Centre (NCDC) Paata Imnadze said earlier today.
Imnadze told the media that the government is in contact with the family of the deceased Georgian citizen.
Three other Georgian citizens who died of the virus in Spain earlier this month also suffered from underlying illnesses.
Georgia has had no deaths of coronavirus inside the country. However, the condition of four patients of a total of 85 currently infected individuals is critical.
One nurse, the only medical worker in the country to have been infected with the virus, has a mild form of the disease, doctors say.
4,995 are under quarantine in Georgia and 278 others are in hospitals.
