Georgia's Nana Dzagnidze, one of the highest-ranked women players in the world, took her latest international win at the International Chess Federation Grand Prix in Lausanne, which concluded on the weekend.
Dzagnidze, holder of the grandmaster title and 2502 current ranking points among competitors, won the third round of fixtures at the event.
The Georgian finished first ahead of Russia's Aleksandra Goryachkina and Kazakhstan's Zhansaya Abdumalik, with a score of 7/11 in the round.

For Dzagnidze the result follows her wins at the 2017 World Blitz Chess Championship and European Women’s Chess Championship.
Beside individual prizes she has also claimed honours at World Chess Olympiads as part of Georgia's national team.
She holds the FIDE Caissa Award, designated to select best woman player of the year, for her performances in 2017.
The Lausanne contest was the third Grand Prix in the 2019-2020 women's season and involved some of the strongest participants across the world.
