Newly installed LED streetlights stolen from new boulevard in Black Sea town of Kobuleti

Sixteen newly installed LED streetlights were stolen in Georgia’s Black Sea town of Kobuleti on December 14, reports Adjaratv.ge.

Local media reports an investigation has not been launched into the incident yet, as Georgian Stones LLC, the company which installed the lighting along the entire lane of the new boulevard, has not yet informed law enforcers regarding the incident.

Badri Romanadze, the director of Georgian Stones LLC said that the incident took place when the working hours were over.

The company installed 256 LED streetlights, the cost of each was 150 GEL.

Kobuleti City Hall stated that Georgian Stones has not completed the works yet and the delivery and acceptance certificate has not been signed yet.

Adjaratv.ge reports that Georgian Stones LLC did not take responsibility for the incident.
