Black Sea town of Kobuleti will meet tourists with upgraded coastline

Georgia’s Black Sea resort town of Kobuleti is getting ready to host tourists as well as locals with its renovated coastline this upcoming summer season.
A section of Kobuleti’s coastline will soon be restored and renovated so as to allow visitors to enjoy a better-protected beach.
The Roads Department of Georgia explained the existing coastline could not hold back storm waves.
To overcome this challenge, the size of the coastline will be increased so that coast-protecting structures will sustain less damage.
To ensure Georgia’s coastal areas are free from rubbish and other waste, special equipment has been installed in Natanebi River to keep its water clean before it joins the Black Sea.
A section of coastline and roadways in several of Georgia’s Black Sea towns will be soon corrected and restored.
Georgia’s central Government and the local government of Georgia’s autonomous Adjara region are coming together to discuss how to develop the region. The PM said he had recently met several investors who were interested in investing in Adjara.
