During the forum, which aims to inform donor organisations of government priorities and reforms, Gakharia said that as of now Georgia has four priority directions.
The four priorities are security, economic development and jobs, education and human capital and open governance,” Gakharia said.
Speaking about governance Gakharia said that state development is unlikely without a ‘strong and politically unbiased public sector.’

The state bureaucracy must be politically neutral and of high quality,” Gakharia said, stating a range of reforms have been carried out to reach the goal and Georgia still needs to take further steps in this regard.
Gakharia said that participation in the Open Partnership Initiative in the following years is among the priorities of the state government.
He said that Georgia has carried out many reforms and continues to do so.
