The son of the ruling Georgian Dream party MP Koba Kobaladze has been charged with violence for attacking a man on June 24 in Tbilisi, with five other individuals.
The Georgian Chief Prosecutor’s Office says that David Kobaladze and five others attacked a young man for revenge, while two of the six attackers ‘wounded the man with the use of sharp objects.’
The Prosecutor’s Office says that all the six alleged offenders were detained on July 11.
The Prosecutor’s Office has already appealed to the court to send the individuals to pretrial detention.
