Greek police detain 2 Georgian citizens for house robberies, selling stolen items

The Greek police have detained two Georgian citizens for house robberies and selling stolen items in Rethymno, a city in Greece.

Local media report that one of the detainees, a 38-year-old man, had robbed 11 residential houses from May 25 to June 23, 2020.

The offender stole jewelry and other items worth €14,870 (about $16,678) and handed them over to his  female accomplice”, the newsIT media reports.
