Greek police detain Georgian citizen for transporting illegal migrants

The Greek police have detained a 36-year-old Georgian citizen for transporting 13 Afghan illegal migrants and was found to not be in possession of a driver’s license.

Local media report that the Afghan migrants did not have the necessary documents to stay in Greece legally.

The detainee was driving a car with a fake license plate at high speed and resisted police during arrest.
