Georgian law enforcers have detained three Ukrainian citizens for the purchase, possession and sale of drugs. 779 pills of Subutex have been confiscated from the apartments of the detainees in Tbilisi.
The police found the Ukrainian citizens were involved in drug dealing schemes through the internet.
The detainees, identified only as A. KH., P. B. and D. P,. delivered drugs to certain individuals for further distribution via ‘pre-selected secret hideouts’ in Tbilisi.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs says the investigation is still underway.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
