Students from the occupied territories of Georgia living in Tbilisi have been given food and other necessary items earlier today amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Georgian government announces.

The British Embassy to Georgia has financed Georgian Defence Forces with 100,000 GEL ($31,325/€28,532) to bolster measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus within the army, says the Ministry of Defence.
Private companies and individuals are now able to make donations in the national currency to help the poor and disadvantaged get through the coronavirus crisis in Georgia thanks to a StopCov foundation created today.
