The British Embassy to Georgia has financed Georgian Defence Forces with 100,000 GEL ($31,325/€28,532) to bolster measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus within the army, says the Ministry of Defence.
The financial aid was spent to buy medical gloves, face masks, thermometers and other medical products.
Medical products purchased by the funds given by the embassy were personally handed to the Georgian Defence Forces by the UK Defence Attaché to Georgia, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Brumwell.
