Police have detained one individual for the illegal purchase and possession of an especially large quantity of drugs in Georgia’s Eastern Kvemo Kartli region.
The detainee, a 29-year-old identified as K.G., has previous convictions, says the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During a personal search of the detainee law enforces seized methamphetamine and heroin wrapped in 21 packages.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
An investigation is in progress to provide more details.
