Author Nodar Dumbadze’s tales unveiled in Arabic, showcased at Doha Int’l Book Fair

A collection of Arabic-language works by popular Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze have been presented at the 30th Doha International Book Fair, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

Eight popular tales of Nodar Dumbadze have been translated into Arabic, including Kukaracha, Mother, Dog, Don’t Wake Up, Bird, Blood, Korida, Ungrateful.

Ketevan Dumbadze, the daughter of the writer and Nikoloz Revazishvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the State of Qatar, presented diplomas of the Georgian Minister of Education to the representatives of Qatar's Ministry of Culture for their contribution to the publication of the book.

The cover of the book is illustrated with a painting Winter in Tbilisi  by popular Georgian artist Elene Akhvlediani.
