Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will start his official working visit to Japan tomorrow.
In Japan PM Bakhtadze has scheduled to meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Tarō Kōno and Finance Minister Tarō Asō.

The Georgian Prime Minister will also meet with the President of Japanese External Trade Organization Yasushi Akahoshi, the President of Nippon Export and Investment Insurance Masafumi Nakada and the President of Japan International Cooperation Agency Shinichi Kitaoka.
PM Bakhtadze announced at today’s press briefing that during his visit he will also visit the exhibition called ‘Georgia – Homeland of Wine’ in the Japanese capital of Tokyo.
Japan is turning into one of the prosperous markets for our wine. This is why we have been preparing for this for a long time,” PM Bakhtadze said, stressing that Japan is among the priority countries for Georgia.
He also stressed that it is a huge opportunity to present Georgia in Japan “not only as a cradle of wine, but also as a country of ancient culture” as well as to “demonstrate our business potential”.
