One out of two injured in Batumi yesterday as a result of a strong wind has died.
Roofing layers torn off a nine-floor building by strong winds in Batumi injured two people and damaged two cars in the seaside city on Friday.
The deceased is a 53-year old man who had been hospitalized with heavy injuries in the head and chest which was followed by a neurosurgery yesterday.
The condition of the second person who was injured yesterday is stable, doctors said today.
The Emergency Management Service said it had received over 20 emergency calls for issues caused by weather conditions yesterday.
