Vice Prime Minister to participate in the Eastern Partnership Investment Summit

Georgian Vice Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili is taking part in the EBRD Eastern Partnership (EaP) Investment Summit taking place in the headquarters of the EBRD, in London, England on November 22.

The Summit is related to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership Initiative.

The Eastern Partnership (EaP), which launched in 2009, is a cooperation framework of the EU and six countries of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus which are Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Tomorrow, the EBRD will also host the President of Armenia and the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. The summit will also be attended by Johannes Hahn, the EU commissioner, EBRD president Suma Chakrabarti, international investors and entrepreneurs.

In the framework of the visit, Tskitishvili will hold business meetings and participate in a high-level discussion panel dedicated to the investment climate and new opportunities of the countries of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.
