German gov’t to allocate €161 million to support Georgian investment projects

The German government is allocating €161.7 million to support Georgian investment projects in infrastructural development, energy, municipal development, environmental protection, vocation education and other areas, the Georgian Ministry of Finance reports.

The financial support agreement was signed today at the headquarters of the Finance Ministry of Georgia.

Of €161.7 million, €21.7 million will be given in the form of a grant, while the rest will be a loan.

Georgia will receive the funding over the course of two years.
