The ministers also spoke about the further deepening of relations between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries,” the Georgian Interior Ministry said.
Shepherd, who was convicted in absentia in the UK in July 2018 of manslaughter by gross negligence of a woman on their first date in December 2015, surrendered to Georgian police on Wednesday.
UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs tweeted:

The Georgian Interior Ministry says that they got involved in the search for the man on 12 January 2019.
The BBC wrote that Shepherd, who killed a woman named Charlotte Brown, 24, in a speedboat crash on the River Thames in London in December 2015, has been in Georgia since March.
