Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a meeting with the US Acting Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Phillip Reeker in Washington D.C. yesterday.
Zalkaliani and Reeker discussed the Georgia-US strategic partnership, regional security and Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
The US role in strengthening Georgian self-defence capacity and supporting its Euro-Atlantic integration was also highlighted.
Reeker expressed support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and put an emphasis on the US contribution to the peaceful resolution of territorial conflicts in Georgia.
Phillip Reeker thanked Zalkaliani for his delegation’s participation in the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom.
