Young Georgian chess players have won the European School Chess Championship in the Romanian Black Sea resort of Mamaia.
Davit Tatvidze, 6, and Kesaria Mgeladze, 9, received gold in their respective categories.

Overall, the Georgian team took third place in the championship hosted by Romania between May 31 and June 10.
