Renovation work on the boulevard and central streets of the Ureki sea resort, in the Guria region of Georgia, has begun.
The project is financed by the government of Georgia, while the Municipal Development Fund of the Georgian Infrastructure Ministry will carry out the work.
The project is worth about 5,000,000 lari ($1,818,181/€1,610,563).

The Ureki boulevard will be fully renovated during the project.
Outdoor lighting and bicycle paths will be installed, restrooms will be built, small squares and areas will be made to open seasonal cafes and commercial facilities.

Road infrastructure work will be conducted as part of the project on streets parallel to the boulevard. Street lighting will also be installed.
The boulevard will be adapted for those with disabilities.
The renovation work will be completed in May 2020.
