Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has expressed his sadness over yesterday’s fire at the drug abuse treatment centre in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili also offered his condolences to the families of those who have died.

Up to 30 people have died in a fire, which according to Azerbaijan's Health Ministry was caused by a short circuit in the centre’s electrical network.
