A Georgian section has been created in the Estonian National Library, as a result of cooperation between the Georgian National Library and the Georgian Embassy in Estonia.
The section mostly consists of English literature about Georgia.
Georgian National Library employees visited the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, yesterday to attend the presentation of the new section.
This is very valuable and good news for everybody. I would like to thank everyone who supported the project – Publishing House Palitra L, Tbilisi Opera and Ballet state Theatre and Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvilebi”, stated director of Georgian National Library Giorgi Kekelidze.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, supported by the National Library, is implementing new digital library platform – www.el.ge.

Professionals at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia restored 42 “unique” historical maps, thousands of books and newspapers throughout 2022, Natalia Elizbarashvili, the Library’s Head of the Conservation and Restoration Department, said on Wednesday in her summary of the institution’s work.
