In Georgia 215,329 voters throughout the country have cast their vote in the presidential elections by 10 a.m. this morning, announces the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The voting process is underway in a calm environment. As of 10:00 a.m., the voter turnout is 6.15% percent - 215,329 voters. Citizens and interested persons can contact us and get any information related to the elections”, Ana Mikeladze, spokeswoman of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, said at a briefing earlier today.
Thee Georgian Young Lawyer’s Association also announced that the voting process is moving along steadily in Georgia.
Polling stations opened at 8 a.m. across the country in 73 precincts. There are 3,703 polling stations and 11 special stations opened throughout Georgia. Also 55 polling stations are open abroad.
The total number of voters on the voters’ list is 3,518,877. There are 14,795 voters registered abroad.
