Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze has met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini in New York yesterday.

Georgian conflict issues and the government of Georgia peace initiative for the resolution of conflicts were key issues discussed during both of the meetings.

Bakhtadze spoke about the hard socioeconomic and humanitarian situation in the Georgian occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) and thanked Guterres and Mogherini for their efforts for the conflict resolution during separate meetings.
Bakhtadze also thanked them for the UN and EU strong support to Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
