A park named after the Georgian capital of Tbilisi will be opened in Buenos Aires, the autonomous city’s parliament has decided.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry shared this news after a meeting between Georgia’s Ambassador to Argentina Irakli Kurashvili and the First Vice- President of the Parliament of the city, Francisco Quintana, and other members of the legislative body.

The decision to open Tbilisi Park is dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Georgian independence. The initiative is noted in a celebratory letter handed by the members of the parliament to the Ambassador Kurashvili at the meeting in Georgia’s Embassy in Buenos Aires.
