Five Iranians, two Georgians arrested for drug crimes at Anaklia electronic music festival

Since January 1, 2018 Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained 99 persons for importing drugs.

Five citizens of Iran and two citizens of Georgia  have been detained for drug crimes at the electronic music festival in Georgia’s Black Sea town of Anaklia today.
 
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that police seized various narcotic drugs during a search of the mentioned individuals.
 
In total, 15 people have been detained for the illegal purchase, possession and sale of narcotics at the electronic music festival in Anaklia, where Echowaves Festival was taking place on August 23-26.
 
Meanwhile, in the capital of Tbilisi police detained one citizen of Ukraine on similar charges.
