Head of the Emergency Management Service of Georgia Giorgi Mgebrishvili, who previously served as Interior Minister of Georgia, quit his post today.

The administration of the government of Georgia press office announced that Mgebrishvili requested dismissal which was approved by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze.

Shalva Khutsishvili is filling in Mgebrishvili until the new head is appointed.
