Georgian-Turkish emergency management services sign deal

Head of Georgia’s Emergency Management Service Giorgi Mgebrishvili has met with Ankara Regional Deputy Director of Forestry Bekir Karacabey, where he thanked the government of Turkey for their "huge support” during last year’s forest fires in Georgia. 

Mgebrishvili said that with the help of Turkey Georgia created a special group, which can extinguish fire at night hours. 

During his visit Mgebrishvili signed a bilateral agreement of cooperation with the Turkish emergency management service , which will brought the current cooperation between the agencies to a higher level, Georgian Emergency Management Service reported.
