New direct flights will link Georgia’s Black Sea town of Batumi and Ukraine’s historical region of Zaporizhia this summer.
Georgian Civil Aviation Agency announced Ukraine International Airlines (UAI) will begin direct flights from Zaporizhia to Batumi International Airport on June 21. Flights will continue until September 15.
The flights will be performed twice a week - on Wednesdays and Fridays on Boeing B737, Airbus A320/321 and EMBRAER ERJ190.
Batumi International Airport is operated by TAV Georgia, the daughter company of Turkish TAV Airports Holding.
