A low-cost airline from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Flydubai, has performed its first flight on the route Dubai-Batumi-Dubai, connecting UAE’s luxurious city to Georgia’s Black Sea resort city.
Starting from June 22nd, Flydubai will perform direct flights three times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays on Boeing 737-800 type aircrafts.

The low-cost airline entered the Georgian market in 2011 and was taking six percent of passenger shares as of 2016.
Since entering the market, Flydubai is performing regular flights on the route Dubai-Tbilisi-Dubai from Tbilisi International Airport.
