The world is observing World Autism Awareness Day today, and Georgia has joined in the celebrations.

The Georgian Parliament hosted children with autism where kids were entertained by a number of planned activities.

The children were welcomed by leader of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction Mamuka Mdinaradze.

"In the future, we should make such events more large-scale and I am very happy that the state takes care of these children”, he said.
