Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has met with American Senators in Brussels today.
Janelidze met with John McCain and Ron Johnson, two Senators who reconfirmed their commitment to advancing Georgia-US relations.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement following the meeting that the discussion focused on intensifying cooperation between the Georgian government and the US administration.
It was also announced that a delegation of US Congressmen will participate in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session scheduled for May in Tbilisi.
Janelidze is in Brussels to participate in the annual Brussels Forum. He spoke at the plenary session about security issues in eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
